Weekly Classes

Here is our weekly schedule for Fall 2018:

  • Mondays in PED South Gym (PED 210, second floor)
    First Tango class is Monday October 22, 2018 at 6pm
    • 6-7pm - Beginner Smooth: Tango
    • 7-8pm - Intermediate Smooth: Waltz
  • Wednesdays in PED Basement Group Exercise Room (Yoga Room)
    First Rumba class is Wednesday October 10, 2018 at 6pm
    • 6-7pm - Beginner Rhythm: Rumba
    • 7-8pm - Intermediate Rhythm: East Coast Swing
  • Fridays in PED Basement Group Exercise Room (Yoga Room)
    • 6-7pm - Performance Team practice
    • 7-9pm - Open Practice (experienced members available to answer questions)

Dance Schedule

The beginner class cycles through the dances in the following order:

  • First half of Fall 2018:
    • Rhythm: Cha Cha
    • Smooth: Foxtrot
  • Second half of Fall 2018:
    • Rhythm: Rumba
    • Smooth: Tango
  • First half of Spring 2019:
    • Rhythm: East Coast Swing
    • Smooth: Waltz
  • Second half of Spring 2019:
    • Rhythm: Bolero & Mambo
    • Smooth: Viennese Waltz

The intermediate class cycles through the dances in the following order:

  • First half of Fall 2018:
    • Rhythm: Rumba
    • Smooth: Waltz
  • Second half of Fall 2018:
    • Rhythm: East Coast Swing
    • Smooth: Foxtrot
  • First half of Spring 2019:
    • Rhythm: Cha Cha
    • Smooth: Tango
  • Second half of Spring 2019:
    • Rhythm: Mambo & Bolero
